Dr. Olena S. Lambert

Dr. Olena Lambert has always known that Bland County is where she belongs. After growing up in the community of Bland, she set out to bring the very best dental education back home to the people who raised her.
Dr. Lambert graduated Magna Cum Laude from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry in 2007, after completing her undergraduate studies at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. But her education didn’t stop there—she’s committed to staying at the forefront of dental innovation through advanced training at prestigious institutions like The Dawson Academy and The Pankey Institute, where the best dentists teach other dentists how to provide truly exceptional care.
Understanding Our Community
Having lived in Bland County her entire life, Dr. Lambert understands the unique challenges we face in rural Virginia—including the drive it takes to find quality healthcare. That’s exactly why she’s brought cutting-edge technology like our revolutionary Solea laser system here to our community. She believes everyone deserves access to the most advanced, comfortable dental care available, no matter where they live.

Life in Bland
When she’s not transforming smiles in the office, Dr. Lambert can be found on her family’s beef farm with her husband Jody and their two daughters, Jillian and Ada. She loves the balance of using cutting-edge technology during the day and getting her hands dirty on the farm in the evenings—it keeps her grounded in what really matters: family, community, and honest hard work.

Lois
Dental Assistant
Lois is an original team member at Bland Family Dentistry hiring on prior to seeing our first patients in November 2007. She is a life long resident of Wythe County and has a long career as a dental assistant. Lois enjoys attending horse shows and spending time with her grandsons.
Hayley
Hayley is a part-time hygienist at Bland Family. She lives in Tazewell and graduated in the Spring of 2022 from Wythe County Community College. She loves animals, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Lori
Lori joined the Bland Family Team to support the front office and the clinical staff. She has many years of dental assisting and front desk experience. She enjoys being outside and spending time with her family.
Brittany
Brittany is our newest hygienist. She is a Bland native and graduated from Wytheville Community College in 2012. She loves spending time with her family and pets, as well as camping.
Taylour
Taylour is our front-end manager. She has experience working chairside as a dental assistant, as well as with scheduling and insurance billing. Taylour is also a very accomplished artist.
